We are proud to introduce our wine list. This list has been chosen to be enjoyed both with a meal or on its own. We have balanced our wines between old world and new world , and looked to include styles that are both recognised and also something new.

White Wines

Pacamaya Sauvignon Blanc, Valle Central Chile
Fresh and lively with good limey fruit and attractive floral character. An easy going introduction to both Chile and Sauvignon.
Freedom Cross Chenin Blanc, Western Cape, Franschhoek Cellar South Africa
Brilliant value wine from Chenin. the Cape's favourite white grape. Full, ripe apple fruit mingles with tropical flavours leading to a clean, dry finish. As ideal with food as it is without.
Preciso Pinot Grigio, Terre Siciliane IGT Italy
A fresh and easy Pinot Grigio with juicy fruit, lemony hints and attractive style.
Picpoul de Pinet, Domaine des Lauriers, Coteaux du Languedoc France
Try this instead of your Chablis or Sauvignon. Fresh, lean, steely. mineral and bone dry. The perfect match for seafood.
Ladera Verde Chardonnay, Valle Central Chile
Pure Chardonnay. With the merest hint of oak gives aromas of tropical fruit. and well-tuned weight on the palate making this a very quaffablc dry white.
La Cabane Reserve, Marsanne/Viognier, IGP Pays d'Oc France
A fresh and aromatic white with juicy fruit made from soft-pressed Marsanne and Viognier grapes grown in the rolling Languedoc countryside. It is crisp but easy-going, suitable for all occasions and represents the best of modern French wine.
Remi & lerome Sauvignon, IGP d'Oc France
A full. fresh Sauvignon with ripe and tasty tropical fruit flavours putting it firmly in the Kiwi style Sauvignon camp. Such generosity comes from warm Mediterranean vineyards and careful winemaking to capture the best of the grape variety.
Kebrilla Grillo, Fina, Terre Siciliane IGP Italy
All blossom and orange peel then a long, dry finish make this a fascinating wine which shows the Grillo grape's full potential. Some of the grapes come from the tiny island of Mozia with the majority coming from Sicily itself.
Tons de Duorum, Douro White Portugal
Intense tropical and citrus fruit aromas, intertwined with floral and mineral notes. Tropical and citrus flavours with a mineral streak on the beautifully refreshing palate. Well-structured with a long finish.
Tummil Flat Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand
Classic Kiwi Sauvignon. fresh, crisp. full of gooseberry and nettle fruit with great poise and elegance.
Macon-Vergisson, Les Rochers, Nadine et Maurice Guerrin France
From one parcel of vines on top of the spectacular Vergisson escarpment comes this delightfully mineral, bready. Chablis-style Nikon. It's a great fish or shellfish wine.
Chablis, Alain Bretin, Domaine lean-Marc Brocard France
This small estates low yields give this wine a juicy, honey-like core. Add the Cortese grape's apple-like freshness, and you have a standard bearer for Gavi. Piedmont's most famous dry white.
 

Red Wines

Pacamaya Merlot, Valle Central Chile
The product of a crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Pinotage is South Africa's unique grape. This example is softly styled with intense blackberry fruit and mocha coffee notes.
Paparuda Pinot Noir, Estate Selection Romania
Fragrant and fruity Pinot Noir with plenty of ripe red fruits, strawberries and raspberries, fresh and crunchy with hints of spice.
Fleurie, Domaine de la Viroylette, I Charlet France
Attractive. wild strawberry fruit is abundant in this wine making it a particularly juicy and good value example. Fleurie is the most famous of the ten superior. 'cru' villages of Beaujolais.
Las Pampas Malbec/Shiraz, Mendoza Argentina
A full. meaty wine with lots of spicy plum fruit and soft tannins providing the structure. Nice weight and good length in this perfect blend of Malbec and Shiraz.
Rioja Vega Tempranillo, Rioja Spain
Soft and fruity 0th plum and blackcurrant flavours and no oak. Medium-bodied.
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Volupta Italy
Good cherry fruit, juicy and substantial. Easy drinking and attractive.
Principe de Viana Garnacha Tinto Roble, Navarra Spain
Soft. round and juicy red with blackberry and redcurrant fruit and an attractive touch of spiciness. From ones over 40 years of age.
Smart Dog Trincadeir-a/Syrah, Alentejo, 1 P Ramos Portugal
loan Portugal Ramos is at the forefront of the modern Portuguese revolution. We can see why. with this fragrant creation of lavender. chocolate and spice box. with a fruit- filled palate and ripe tannins.
Don Cristobal 1492 Malbec, Mendoza Argentina
A perfect combination of ripe red fruit character and spice, enhanced by subtle use of French oak barrels. The palate is rich, beefy and almost savoury with lovely length.
Gustales Crianza, Rioja Spain
Antonio Navajas produces excellent Rioja with the majority of production being sold in UK. With 15 months in oak, this is a most appealing wine showing strawberry fruit and vanilla on the nose and a smooth, silky palate.
Wente 'Beyer Ranch' Zinfandel, Livermore Valley, San Francisco USA
Classically fruity Zinfandel with aromas of plums with hints of raspberry and blueberry It is well-balanced on the palate with good acidity and delicious toasty oak which give under-lying structure to the excellent fruit.
Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Télégramme, H Brunier et Fils France
Lovely soft fruit with spice. plums. herbs and a touch of leather behind. Quite forward in the mouth with soft. ripe tannins, great length and a luscious finish.
 

Rose Wine

Pleno Gamacha Rosado, Navarra Spain
Easy going rosé with attractive strawberry fruit. juicy and fresh. from a modern bodega in the Navarra region of Spain.
 

Sparkling Wines

Prosecco, Vetriano Italy
An attractive biscuity nose leads onto a bright fruity palate with hints of pears and melon. An excellent aperitif on its own or with peach juice as a Bellini.
Prosecco Spumante, Treviso, II CoIle - 20c1 Italy
A gently sparkling wine with lovely soft peachy fruit. the palate is lovely and juicy with great balance and character. A great aperitif.
Tanners Brut Extra Reserve Champagne France
With fruit, style and elegance. this champagne is produced for Tanners by a highly reputed champagne house, a group of small growers. each carefully tending small vineyards above Epernay in the heart of the Champagne region.

Dessert Wine

Tanners A Blend of Amontillado, Medium Dry Sherry Spain
A mature Amontillado style with attractive nutty notes on the nose that is particularly good value. Elegant and refined on the palate. it is medium-dry without being as sweet as some others.

Noval 10 Year Old Tawny Port Portugal
With aromas and flavours of walnuts and dried fruits, this is very appealing port. Rich and complex it also has a lively character and is not too sweet.
